Because... Life needs a soundtrack.

Most of you know I loooooove music. I just can't get enough of it. I love how it can set, reflect and change a mood in seconds. I'm the type who always sings along with the radio, in the shower or randomly when I think the house is too quiet. If I'm not listening to something, guaranteed there is some song running in my mind. When I got a tattoo, as cliche as it sounds, I had to get something I knew I'd never regret - so I got a treble clef.

Over lunch, Jacek and I decided to get out of the office before we went postal. We grabbed some lunch and stopped at the store so I could pick up some music. (I had to buy S&M again since the ex lost one of the discs and has yet to replace it. Dumb ass.) I popped it in the good ol' lappy as soon as we got back to work - right to Disc 2 Track 8. One.
I played it a few times over and over and rocked out in my cube, I felt immensely better.

We all have at least one song that just does it for us. For me it's One and the S&M version is just amazing. (For those of you unaware it was a concert where the San Francisco Symphony played along with the band on a bunch of their classic and new material. If you haven't checked it out you should.)

So, it got me thinking... what is your song or songs that are a must have on your life's soundtrack?

Here's some of mine (in no particular order.) I'll add more as they come to me. I'm obviously a little tainted by my recent reunion with "One."

One - Metallica
Paul Revere - Beastie Boys
I Am a Rock - Simon and Garfunkel
When You Say You Love Me - Josh Groban
No Rain - Blind Melon
Symphony No. 40 in G Minor - Mozart

"I love your blogs Christina! And like you, I loooovvvvee music. I can't imagine life without it.
This is such a hard question, because there is so many songs that I love and truly believe have changed/influenced my life.
Ok, here are some:
"Your Eyes" - Peter Gabriel
"Defying Gravity" - from Wicked musical
"Is This All" - Jonatha Brooke
"Allentown" - Billy Joel

That is barely scratching the surface. It is too late, I can't think of anymore."
